Medical costs include all medically necessary expenses, such as doctors’ fees, prescribed treatments and examinations and the associated costs and drugs. Costs of hospitalization, surgery and/or transport to the hospital are also insured.
Your health insurance covers treatment only up to the standard rates that are used for a similar treatment in your home country. If medical care is more expensive in your holiday country, the post Medical Costs in your travel insurance covers the additional cost.
The calculated premium on our site is the total premium for the number of days and the number of persons that you have specified.
